Plant Based Nutrition Specialist

Hi! I’m Margaret. I’m a wife, mom, and recovering Epstein-Barr virus sufferer. Do people look at you and think you have it all together, but secretly you’re just trying to tread water? That was me. After a decade of fighting monthly bouts of agonizing joint pain, headaches, and “mystery” symptoms, I started to research the benefits of a whole foods plant-based diet.  Changing my diet and lifestyle made a remarkable difference in my health.  I started to feel like myself again. Symptoms went away and I lost weight. Then came the challenges of how I was going to make this vegan lifestyle a permanent thing. Boy, at first it was tough! But over time, I learned many new recipes, tips, and tricks. I went back to school to study integrative nutrition. How do I know I can help you? Because I’ve been there, I feel your pain, and I know how amazing it feels to be on the other side of it! Lasting change comes with dedication and support. Let’s do this together!

Hey there! My name is Carrie Austin. I am a Wife, Mom and Nana. I went completely plant based a little over 2 years ago when I was having trouble recovering after hip surgery. My daughter suggested a 30 day Vegan challenge and I reluctantly accepted. I had tried every other diet out there and was not having any lasting success. That month I lost 20 lbs, gained a ton of energy and all of my residual pain disappeared. I never looked back. My passion led me to go back to school and I am on a mission to help as many people as I can who are finding themselves on a similar path. Whether you are a vegetarian, a junk food vegan or an omnivore looking to incorporate more plants in your life, I believe I can help.  I love to cook at home and create new, delicious whole food plant based recipes. I also love to work out and hike in my spare time. I look forward to connecting with you and helping you on your own plant based journey.
